Activision Blizzard (ATVI) is the biggest video game publisher in the world, and it’s behind classic titles like Doom and Diablo. However, it’s most commonly known for its billion-dollar franchisees Call of Duty and World of Warcraft.
And given the success of its latest Call of Duty titles, Call of Duty Modern Warfare and Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War, experts anticipate its flagship series will take center stage at E3.
This could suggest that we’ll see a new Call of Duty title announced in tandem with new updates to its wildly popular free-to-play Call of Duty Warzone battle royale.
However, it’s also possible that we’ll see further information released about Overwatch 2, the sequel to Activision Blizzard’s popular her-shooter esports franchise.
And if the reveals are well-received, we could see Activision Blizzard shares trend higher in the months leading up to their releases.
