A paralyzed man just became the first person to ever write a tweet using his mind…
On December 23, Phillip O’Keefe pulled off the feat using a Synchron-developed microchip implant capable of monitoring and understanding brainwaves.
More specifically, the brain-computer interface (BCI) analyzes and translates brainwaves into commands that are sent to devices that can carry out the action.
Over the years, media outlets have largely speculated on the possibility of these chips thanks to the popularity of Elon Musk’s neurotechnology company Neuralink.
However, given that this is the first-ever tweet made through direct thought, it validates the growing interest in the space.
This marks a major breakthrough in the industry, as it shows there is potential in the technology.
And while it will benefit brain-chip developer Synchron, it will likely lead to an even greater wave of investments across the sector – boosting many of the largest chip makers in the process.

Legacy Research
Elon Musk made $180 million on PayPal, $18.7 billion on SpaceX, and $110 billion on Tesla.
But it’s what he’s planning next that will shock everyone.
It could even put up to an extra $30,000 in your pocket every year.
This includes Intel (INTC)…
Even though Intel is primarily known for its more traditional semiconductors – which are used in everything from autonomous cars to artificial intelligence (AI) – the company is also developing microchips for the brain.
Currently, Intel is working on a neuromorphic, AI-powered chip codenamed Loihi 2 through an open-source software framework.
Through this, the semiconductor giant hopes to not only drive innovation in the up-and-coming sector, but also increase the adoption and availability of neuromorphic computing solutions.
And as more progress is made in boosting the performance of brain chips across the industry, the company should become one of the largest benefactors given its dominant position in the broader semiconductor market.
“IMPERIUM:” The No. 1 Investment of the 2020s
Money & Markets
Could this odd-looking machine really be the most transformative innovation in history?
Experts are screaming: “YES”!
Elon Musk calls it “amazing…”
A former Apple CEO says: “[It will] have a far bigger impact on humanity than the Internet.”
While a Harvard Ph.D. says it could “[surpass] the space, atomic, and electronic revolutions in its significance.”
It’s a technology I call “Imperium.”
And it’s about to spark the biggest investment mega trend in history… with one small Silicon Valley company at the center of it all.
